No. You don't require any landline/phone-line connection of any provider in order to use trringphone.

Trringphone has a rechargeable battery inside it from which it draws power when switched on. It connects to your smartphone via bluetooth and thus can enable the call transfer from the connected smartphone to trringphone.

will I be able to make calls using trringphone without unlocking my smartphone?

Yes, you will be able to make calls using trringphone without touching the smartphone once they are connected via bluetooth. Just dial the number you wish on trringphone dial pad and you will be able to make the call.

The recipient will get the call from your smartphone number.

does trringphone need any external power supply while using?

No, trringphone has a rechargeable battery inside it so it does not require any constant power supply to run. It takes nearly 3-4 hours to fully charge the trringphone. Once charged, it will last for 3-5 days with normal daily usage.
It can be used while being charged too, no problem there.

will I also get whatsapp, facebook, facetime calls on trringphone?

Yes for iOS, when connected to an iphone even whatsapp, facebook, or facetime calls will ring on trringphone. Once picked up, these calls will be treated like audio calls.
When bluetooth connected smartphone is android, the internet calls (whatsapp, instagram etc) can NOT be mirrored whereas normal calls work perfectly fine.
